LL 004 agent cooper - "raw" breaks

This release features new remixes with some sample-loops of classic tech-house tracks.

The major music industry sees all sampling and re-using of any tracks they have released as criminal, like stealing property. Anyway the industry is way behind reality, selling CD Writers and MP3 players at the same time as telling the public that copying any music is unlawful...HA HA...what does it mean...copying...Industry record labels "buying" music from creators and copying it to maximise their profits...what is the creative part worth. Most money (over 90 percent) generated from selling a CD will never arrive at where this piece of music was made. However I think there is a way to reinsert musical themes that have been lost over the time, especially in electronic music, that is adding creativity and original ideas, variations...People especially in the underground dance music will notice that trends come and go and as in fashion the sound, tempo and melody will change very quickly. There is a fine line between ripping other peoples ideas and adding something that makes sense in a form of dialogue.

A Side featuring breakbeat sample by Martin Bonds (KMS, Frictional Rec., "Strand", Detroit). This guy is a living legend in Detroit techno history. He used to work as main engineer at the KMS studio ( with Kevin Saunderson) under artist names "Marty Hardy" and "Strand".

The loop itself was a popular classic ravesignal of the early Ž90s and re-used several times by formations "Microglobe" (Germany) and "Bizarre Inc." (UK) before.

B Side track 1 contains a sample from Todd Terry/ Jungle Bros. production " IŽll house You", but avoiding the overused Todd Terry percussions this time (I think it was major trend of 98-99 to put Todds old raw sounds into techno tracks, stop it guys, please !)

track 2 featuring vocal samples from "Cinnamone" "I need You now", a legendary early disco track...
